Quinn Huber has been named the winner of the inaugural BRS Museum Scholarship.

Established by Steve Jachino in memory of his parents, John and Clara Jachino, the BRS Museum Scholarship is open to graduating Nokomis High School seniors who will be attending college or technical school in the fall.

Huber will receive $1,000 toward her college education. The winner was chosen by a panel that included Steve Jachino, Nokomis High School teacher Barb Klinefelter and several BRS board members.

The seven other applicants each received $200, also funded by Steve Jachino.
