|More than 60 attend training|
A great turnout at the BRS Museum on June 4 for volunteer training ahead of the Smithsonian exhibit Hometown Teams opening on June 7.
More than 60 people were on hand to hear Mallory Laurel of the Illinois Humanities Council walk them through what the national exhibit tries to provide to volunteers and visitors alike.
Steve Johnson of the BRS gave a brief overview of volunteers' responsibilities during the exhibit's 6-week run. Other museum directors also answered questions from the crowd.
